The Aegis Project, a European Commission Horizon 2020 project focusing on EU-US cybersecurity and privacy dialogue, invites you to participate in a design based studio event to explore and co-create new and innovative approaches to strengthening Transatlantic understanding of cybersecurity and privacy.
This event will be led by Rhode Island School of Design Executive Education (RISD EE) in partnership with The Providence Group. One of RISD EE’s suite of user-focused, executive learning experiences is the Institute for Design and Public Policy (IDPP). IDPP studios are built on and thrive through design practice – essentially tackling complex challenges in iterative, non-linear, collaborative ways. In this program, we distill some of the essential tools of the design process — such as problem-framing, ideation, and prototyping — and use them to generate a deep understanding of the problem at hand and a collaborative response at multiple levels and diverse scales.
The event will be held on March 1, 2018 from 8:30am to 6pm with a reception to follow at the Law Offices of Reed Smith, 1301 K Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20005.
We look forward to your participation.

Additional event materials will be sent in early February.
