BILAT USA 4.0, a European Commission funded project that aims to further develop research and innovation cooperation between the European Union and the United States, will host a series of workshops on the €80 billion Horizon 2020 funding program in the U.S. in Atlanta, Chicago and Tempe.
The workshops aim to inform U.S. researchers on how to participate in Horizon 2020 projects as well as highlight additional resources for EU-U.S. research collaboration. BILAT USA 4.0 will feature research administrators who have successfully applied for and received Horizon 2020 awards. The first workshop will be held in Atlanta on September 25.
The specific discussion topics are as follows:
- How can we increase research collaboration with Europe in my university? And how can a U.S. university participate in Horizon 2020?
- What types of projects, organizations and countries are usually supported by Horizon 2020? What partnerships are required or encouraged?
- How do I manage a Horizon 2020 project?
