The European Union´s top cybersecurity and privacy projects will be showcased at the ECoSP Workshop (European Projects Clustering Workshop on Cybersecurity and Privacy) at the ARES Conference from Aug. 27 – 30 in Hamburg, Germany.
ECoSP aims to demonstrate the different research areas of various European Commission funded projects in the cybersecurity and privacy sector. The event will feature 15 projects in the Horizon 2020 Program, the European Union´s research and innovation funding program. Each project will present its objectives, its latest outcomes and the milestones achieved.
The event was organized the ARIES and LIGHTest projects. The ARIES initiative works on designing and promoting a framework for a reliable electronic identity ecosystem in Europe using digital and traditional approaches. Meanwhile, LIGHTest aims to create a global cross-domain and transparent trust infrastructure that makes it easy for verifiers to evaluate electronic transactions.
