The CONNECT University Summer School, a European Commission initiative, will host a session on cybersecurity in critical economic sectors on July 4 in Brussels.
The session, titled “Cybersecurity in health, banking, transport and insurance,” will feature European Commission and external cybersecurity experts that will discuss current challenges in these areas and present possible innovative solutions. CONNECT University has chosen to highlight these critical sectors because they have been a frequent cybersecurity target in recent years.
Additionally, cyberattacks on these sectors expose millions of people to cyber threats and cause significant financial loses.
