NATO’s Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre (NMIOTC) has announced its fourth conference on maritime cybersecurity, which aims to encourage participation and collaboration in the sector among key stakeholders.
According to NMIOTC, the conference will analyze the impact of emerging cyber risks in maritime operations, discuss cyber risk strategies, cover the latest maritime cybersecurity technologies and industrial products and talk about NATO-EU cybersecurity collaboration and initiatives, among others.
The “4th NMIOTC Conference on Cybersecurity in the Maritime Domain” will be held from September 30 to October 1 in Souda Bay in Crete.
NMIOTC will also feature papers submitted by experts at the conference. Papers will cover a range of topics, including cyberspace in the maritime environment and its characteristics, the nature of current and future cyber attacks in maritime operations and cybersecurity aspects in the maritime field, among many others.
